Packaging Technologist — Sustainable Materials

A UK packaging manufacturer with a growing portfolio of sustainable and mono-material packaging solutions is seeking a Packaging Technologist to support its NPD and customer innovation pipeline. The business supplies folding carton, flexible film, and hybrid packaging to leading grocery, food service, and personal care brands.

You will manage new pack development briefs from concept through to production qualification, work closely with material suppliers and brand-owner packaging teams, and contribute to the company’s sustainability roadmap. A solid technical grounding in packaging materials — particularly recyclable, compostable, or reduced-material structures — is essential. Experience working within or alongside FMCG brand owners or major grocery retailers is highly desirable.
