Managing Director — Independent Packaging Converter

A privately owned flexible and rigid packaging converter with a strong position in the food and personal care markets is seeking a Managing Director to lead the business following the planned transition of its founder. The business has been built on excellent service, consistent quality, and long-standing customer relationships — and the incoming MD will be expected to preserve that foundation while driving the next phase of growth.

You will take full P&L accountability, develop the senior team, lead a capital investment programme, and build the commercial pipeline in new end-market sectors. The ideal candidate brings proven MD or senior director experience in a packaging converting environment, a credible track record of growth, and the interpersonal skills to lead a close-knit, high-performing team through a leadership transition. Ownership incentive will be considered for the right candidate.
